# Tarnished Crown

> Official game website for Tarnished Crown: Faction Wars and Tarnished Crown: Ascent, developed by Blackmead.

Faction Wars is a standalone game in early development in Unreal Engine 5. Its Windows launcher is public, but game access requires approval. Signing up requests consideration; it does not grant immediate access.

Ascent is a separate standalone roguelike deckbuilder for 1 to 4 players, with a public Windows preview. Its download does not require Faction Wars signup. The Ascent guide below covers that game specifically.

The Rust-era website is preserved under /mods/rust/. The hyphenated domain, www.tarnished-crown.com, redirects historical pages to their archive equivalents and retains the shared signup service. Rust and Minecraft servers are offline. Historical server rules and class details are not current Faction Wars or Ascent rules.

These links lead to public, text-readable game pages. Development articles and changelog entries are dated; implementation work is not necessarily a released build. Consult the status and download pages for current availability.
