Wear It Like You Mean It

System ยท Armor

Armor training now does something with the pieces you actually wear. Mix your kit, watch the weight and put a stance on the hotbar.

The whole outfit counts

The armor weight foundation landed on September 25. Armor training now builds on it with protection from matching pieces, resource benefits and damage mitigation. Cloth, Leather, Chain and Plate each have their own reasons to take up space in your wardrobe.

Coverage matters. A Cloth chest supplies its share of Quiet Mind instead of pretending you are wearing a whole Cloth set. Mix categories and each contributes its actual share. Training improves the relevant benefits; it does not quietly make the outfit weigh less.

Keep something in reserve

Cloth gets spell wards and Composure, which prepares a mana discount after hostile spell damage. Leather helps with dodging and recovery. Chain supports close protection and economical blocking. Plate brings physical mitigation, Guard support and resistance to hostile displacement.

Reactive benefits follow the event that earned them. Fleet Recovery follows a completed dodge. Battle Endurance needs a qualifying direct hit. Swapping a piece does not restart a timed benefit and give you another full window for free.

Give the outfit a button

All four armor stances and their level-100 upgrades are now integrated. Assign them through the Armour section of the ability book, using the same eight slots as your class and other proficiency abilities. The base and upgraded versions share their cooldown.

Overweight stays visible as a persistent status, even with timed effects running. Temporary stances end when you disconnect, while their cooldowns continue. Pick the armor, pick the moment and leave enough room on the hotbar to do something with both.
