Starter crafting and station models turn a bag of gathered materials into the beginning of a workshop.
The rocks have a purpose
Starter crafting is in. Gathering needs somewhere to go after the bag fills up, and the answer begins with turning raw materials into something you can use.
Crafting-station models give that work a place in the world. A workshop should look like a workshop, even while the list of things you can make is still growing.
A small loop worth building on
Go out for materials. Bring them back. Make the next thing. That loop connects exploration to equipment, and equipment to the next trip out.
This is the starter milestone, not the final recipe count. Later updates add more station tiers, professions, processing chains and equipment families. The current catalogue collects those additions in one searchable place.
Leave room in the bag
The other addition in this pass is corpse icons. Knowing what you picked up is useful, especially when some of it used to chase you.
It is an unglamorous but important part of the game: clear materials, understandable recipes and a result worth carrying. Big adventures tend to begin with a fairly ordinary shopping list.
