Put Your Name on It

Professions

Better crafting outcomes, prepared batches and gear that remembers who made it. The workshop has been busy.

Keep the useful bits

The crafting trades now put more of their mastery into completed orders. Blacksmithing gains material recovery, quality improvements and bonus-item benefits. Carpentry, Leatherworking and Tailoring have their own completion rewards. Jewelcrafting adds its settings benefits and Lapidary timing.

An order records the relevant benefits when you queue it. The finished result survives saving and reconnecting, including its original reward rolls. Leaving the game halfway through a job should not make the workshop forget what it was making.

Save the good preparation for something good

Masterwork, Measured Cut, Perfect Pattern, Weaver's Rhythm and Jeweler's Eye are now connected to new paid crafting orders. Their preparation lasts 30 seconds and improves the first eligible unit, or the first two with the capstone, by one rarity step up to Legendary.

These are big decisions with a shared 24-hour base-and-upgrade cooldown. They do not reach backwards into a queue you already paid for. Double Brew and Hearty Batch bring their own prepared-batch benefits, while Field Dresser uses table-yield templates for a limited number of field-processing inputs.

Made by somebody

At Grandmaster, Blacksmithing, Carpentry, Leatherworking, Tailoring and Jewelcrafting can put the original crafter on eligible finished gear. Inspect the item and see who made it. Equip it, save it or pass it to somebody else, and the maker stays the same.

Alchemy and Cooking have lasting results too. Eligible restorative potions keep their crafted potency, and meals keep their extended duration. A good crafter can leave you better prepared long after you have walked away from the bench. Remember who packed lunch.
